Getting Started with Project Ultima

Welcome to Project Ultima, a custom UO:R Felucca-only shard built with love and fresh innovations. Whether you're a vet or new to the world of Sosaria, this guide will help you begin your journey.

🔧 Installation (BETA)

🧙‍♂️ Character Creation

  • Choose a class on creation (custom templates visible on the patched launcher).
  • You’ll start in a custom New Player Training Hall and Newbie Dungeon.
  • Training Credits are awarded at character creation—use them with skill trainers to get a head start.

⚔️ PvP on a Felucca-Only Shard

Project Ultima uses the classic Felucca ruleset—this means:

  • PvP is **always enabled** everywhere outside guard zones and Newbie zone.
  • You can be attacked (and attack others) in dungeons, wilderness, or even towns without guards.
  • There are no Trammel-safe zones. Death is part of the experience!
  • Reputation counts: Blue = innocent, Grey = criminal, Red = murderer.
  • You **can** lose items when killed—keep your valuables banked or insured (if systems allow).

Tip: Travel prepared, and always expect the unexpected. Dungeons and lucrative farming spots are especially dangerous.

💡 New Player Tip

Many rare loot drops like **Treasure Bags** and **Lustrous Cloth** scale with mob difficulty. Farming harder content increases your chance to hit valuable rewards.
