Weekly Dungeon Selection
The Weekly Dungeon Selection System determines which dungeons each Alliance receives as their special buffed dungeons for the week. These assignments rotate every Weekly Reset and create dynamic competition between Alliances for dungeon dominance, rewards, and prestige.
Overview
Each Alliance is automatically assigned three unique dungeons each week. These dungeons receive powerful buffs that increase gold drops, rare loot rates, and experience gains for all members of that Alliance.
Dungeon Buff Types
Each Alliance receives one dungeon for each of the following buff types:
| Buff Type | Effect | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 💰 Gold Drop Increase | Monsters drop more gold. | +25% gold from creatures in assigned dungeon. |
| ✨ Rare Loot Drop Increase | Higher chance for rare item drops. | +25% increased drop rate for special loot. |
| ⚡ XP Increase | Increases experience gain from kills. | +25% bonus experience gain. |
Available Dungeons
The following dungeons are currently available for assignment through the system:
Assignment Rules
Dungeon selection follows strict rules to ensure fairness and rotation:
🚫 No Cross-Alliance Duplicates
- Each dungeon can belong to only one Alliance per week.
- Example: If the Brit-Trin Alliance receives Despise, no other Alliance can have Despise that week.
🔄 Weekly Rotation
- The system remembers the previous week’s assignments.
- A dungeon cannot receive the same buff type two weeks in a row.
- Example: If Despise had a Gold buff last week, it might have Rare Loot or XP this week instead.
📊 No Intra-Alliance Duplicates
- Each Alliance always receives three different dungeons.
- Each assigned dungeon will have exactly one buff type (Gold, Loot, or XP).
Example Weekly Assignments
| Alliance | Gold Buff Dungeon | Rare Loot Buff Dungeon | XP Buff Dungeon |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brit-Trin Alliance | Despise | Covetous | Shame |
| Minoc Federation | Destard | Wrong | Hythloth |
| Yew Rebellion | Ice | Deceit | Wilderness |
Next Week’s Rotation
At the following Weekly Reset:
- Dungeons will reassign following rotation rules.
- No dungeon repeats the same buff type consecutively.
- Alliances will always receive unique, non-overlapping assignments.
Example:
- If Brit-Trin Alliance had Despise (Gold) this week,
- → Next week Despise will not appear as Gold again,
- but could appear for another Alliance or with a different buff type.
How the Buffs Work
All three dungeon buffs for each Alliance use the same Weekly Dungeon Buff Value derived from the Alliance’s Gold Coffers.
Example:
- If your Alliance’s Weekly Dungeon Buff = 25%
- → Despise (Gold Buff): +25% Gold Drops
- → Covetous (Rare Loot Buff): +25% Rare Loot Chance
- → Shame (XP Buff): +25% XP Gain
The same percentage applies to all three dungeons.
Strategy and Competition
- Alliances can plan weekly farming and contests around their assigned dungeons.
- Each Alliance’s Weekly Dungeon Buff value is determined by their Gold Coffers and their chosen Economic Policy (Hunting Policy).
- The more gold contributed, the stronger all three dungeon buffs become.
Key Takeaways
- Each Alliance gets 3 unique dungeons per week.
- Buffed dungeons do not overlap between Alliances.
- Dungeons rotate weekly to keep variety and strategy fresh.
- All buffs scale with the Alliance’s total gold coffers.
- Buffs affect Gold Drops, Rare Loot, and XP equally based on the same percentage value.
