Summary
• The **Foundation System** is a comprehensive crafting and gathering guild framework that allows players to join specialized trade organizations.
• Each foundation focuses on specific skills (Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Carpentry, Animal Taming, etc.) and provides progression, benefits, and challenges unique to their craft.
• Foundations operate independently with their own experience (XP), and levels.
• Players can join only one foundation at a time per character, but can request orders from any foundation they meet the requirements for.
• **Minimum 80.0 skill** required in the foundation's primary skill to receive requisition orders.
• **Minimum 90.0 skill** required in the foundation's primary skill to receive Large Requisition Orders.
Available Foundations
• **Iron Anvil Covenant** - Blacksmithing
• **Silversheen League** - Tailoring
• **Oakheart Circle** - Carpentry
• **Beastbond Brotherhood** - Animal Taming
• **Stagthorn Order** - Monster Hunting
• **Alchemists Crucible** - Alchemy
• **Runeweaver Guild** - Inscription
• **Gearwright Syndicate** - Tinkering
• **Hearthfire Guild** - Cooking
• **Seafarers Collective** - Fishing
• **Green Wardern Compact** - Gathering (Mining, Lumberjacking, Forensics)
Skill Requirements
Minimum Skill for Requisition Orders
• **80.0 skill minimum** required to receive any requisition order from a foundation
• **Standard Foundations:** Must have 80.0 in the foundation's single skill
• **Green Wardern Compact (Special):** Must have 80.0 in ANY of three gathering skills:
•• Mining (80.0+), OR
•• Lumberjacking (80.0+), OR
•• Forensics (80.0+)
Large Order Skill Requirements
• **90.0 skill minimum** in the foundation's primary skill
• Skill scaling determines the **quality and complexity** of the large order
• Higher skill = more valuable and challenging orders
Large Order Chance Formula
• **Base:** 5% at 90.0 skill
• **Skill Bonus:** +5% at 120.0 skill
• **Member Bonus:** Up to +20% based on rank and skill
• **Total Cap:** 30% maximum chance
Requisition Orders
Types of Orders
Small Requisition Orders
• Single item or creature type
• Available to all players with **80.0+ skill**
• Faster to complete
• Lower XP and value rewards
• Value tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare
Large Requisition Orders
• Multiple items or creatures from the same category/subcategory
• Requires **90.0+ skill** in the foundation's primary skill
• Higher XP and value rewards
• **Base 10% chance** at 90.0 skill, up to **30% chance** for Grandmaster members with high skill
• Value tiers: Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic
Order Cooldowns
Requisition Order Timer
• **6 hours** between requisition orders
• Timer starts when order is received
• Cannot request new order until timer expires
• Timer is **per foundation** (each foundation has independent cooldown)
Example Timeline
• 12:00 PM - Request Iron Anvil order → 6-hour cooldown starts
• 12:05 PM - Can still request Silversheen League order (different foundation)
• 6:00 PM - Iron Anvil cooldown expires, can request new order
Value Tier Thresholds
Small Orders
• Common - Basic resources, low quantities, no exceptional
• Uncommon - Mid-tier resources or higher quantities
• Rare - High-tier resources, exceptional quality, or high quantities
Large Orders
• Rare - Basic large order, 2-3 items, mid-tier resources
• Epic - 3-4 items, good resource tiers, possible exceptional
• Legendary - 4-5 items, high-tier resources, often exceptional
• Mythic - 5-6 items, zentonium-tier resources, exceptional quality
*(Thresholds vary by foundation type - Monster/Taming foundations use different scales)*
Experience (XP) and Levels
Per-Foundation Progression
• Each foundation tracks **separate XP and levels** for each player
• Gaining levels in one foundation does not affect your standing in another
Rank Progression
| Rank | Level | |
|---|---|---|
| Initiate | Level 0 (New member) | |
| Member | Level 5 | |
| Contributor | Level 10 | |
| Adept | Level 15 | |
| Veteran | Level 20 | |
| Master | Level 25 | |
| Grandmaster | Level 30 |
Gaining XP
• Players earn XP by completing requisition orders
• XP is awarded based on the **value tier** of the completed order
• Higher value orders (Legendary, Mythic) grant significantly more XP
Value System
Small Order Values
• **Common**
• **Uncommon**
• **Rare**
Large Order Values
• **Rare** (0-7 points)
• **Epic** (8-11 points)
• **Legendary** (12-15 points)
• **Mythic** (16+ points)
Value Determination Factors
For Crafting Orders
• **Skill requirement** of the item (0-5 points)
• **Resource tier** - Iron vs Zentonium (0-5 points)
• **Exceptional quality** requirement - 10% chance (0-4 points)
• **Quantity needed** - Higher quantities = more value (0-3 points)
• **Number of items** - Large orders only (0-6 points)
• **Large order bonus** - Inherent +2 points for large orders
For Taming Orders
• **Minimum taming skill** required (exponential curve)
• **Diversity of creatures** - Large orders only
• **Quantity needed** - Modified by creature difficulty
• **Skill range** - Wider range = higher difficulty (large orders)
For Monster Orders
• **Creature difficulty score** - Based on mob stats and abilities
• **Paragon requirement** - Significantly increases difficulty
• **Number of different creatures** - Large orders only
• **Quantity needed** - Modified by creature type
Member Benefits
Member Order Reroll Chance
• Foundation members have a **rank-based chance** to reroll their order value
• **Initiate (Rank 1):** 1% reroll chance
• **Grandmaster (Rank 7):** 10% reroll chance
• Reroll always upgrades value by +1 tier (Common → Uncommon → Rare, etc.)
• System attempts to regenerate order with higher value requirements
• If perfect match can't be found, value is still upgraded but items remain the same
How Reroll Works
1. Player receives an order (e.g., Common value small order)
2. System checks member rank and rolls for reroll chance
3. If successful, target value is increased by +1 tier (Common → Uncommon)
4. System attempts to find items/resources that match the new target value
5. If found, order is regenerated with new requirements
6. If not found, order keeps original items but value tier is upgraded
Resource Selection System
Tier-Based Chances
• Resources are organized into 10 tiers (Tier 0 = Iron/Regular, Tier 9 = Zentonium/Zentowood/Zento Leather)
• System checks player's skill and rolls for each tier from highest to lowest
Harvest Chances by Tier
| Tier | Resource | Skill Required |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Base (Iron/Regular) | 0.0 |
| 1 | Dull | 65.0 |
| 2 | Umbra | 70.0 |
| 3 | Copper | 75.0 |
| 4 | Bronze | 80.0 |
| 5 | Gold | 85.0 |
| 6 | Luna | 90.0 |
| 7 | Dura | 95.0 |
| 8 | Vera | 99.0 |
| 9 | Zento | 105.0 |
How It Works
• System checks player's skill against tier requirements
• Starts from the **highest accessible tier** based on skill
• Rolls for each tier from highest to lowest
Foundation-Specific Features
Resource Types
• **Metal Foundations:** Use ore/ingot resources (Iron → Zentonium)
• **Wood Foundations:** Use wood resources (Regular → Zentowood)
• **Leather Foundations:** Use leather resources (Regular → Zento Leather)
• **Taming Foundations:** Focus on creature types
• **Monster Foundations:** Focus on combat challenges
• **Fishing Foundation:** Focus Weighted Fish types and sizes ===Order Categories===
• Each foundation organizes orders into **categories and subcategories**
• Large orders select all items from the **same subcategory** to maintain thematic consistency
Example (Iron Anvil Covenant)
• **Category:** Metal Armor
**Subcategories:**
•• Plate Armor
•• Chain Armor
•• Ring Armor
• **Category:** Metal Weapons
**Subcategories:**
•• Swords
•• Axes
•• Maces
