The Info Command

Look Closer at Anything
  1. Type [Info (or [Inspect) and target any item, creature or player to open one panel about it.
  2. Items show their art, name, item id, hue, weight, where they are worn, loot type, durability, quality and crafter, charges, and the numbers you would learn by equipping them. Rare hues are named with their rarity, and hovering the hue shows everything the shard knows about that colour.
  3. Magic on an unidentified weapon, armor piece, instrument or wand stays hidden. Item Identification and the identification wands keep their job.
  4. Items that can be crafted show the skill and materials. Items an NPC shop or a custom vendor sells show who sells them.
  5. Creatures show their difficulty number, what they are weak to, their special abilities, whether they can be provoked or calmed, taming requirements, and for pets their owner and bond. No stats or skills.
  6. Targeting a player shows their Character ID card, the same card you see on your own Main Menu.
  7. Weapons, armor, instruments and wands have a Compare button. Target a second one of the same kind and the two are shown side by side, with the rows that differ lit in gold.

Descriptions
  1. Items and creatures can now carry a written description, shown at the bottom of the Info panel. Relics and rare loot show the text they always had; many more things will be described over time.
  2. Items bought from custom vendors, opened from prize packs or claimed from the achievement shop can arrive with a description written by staff, and the panel names where the item came from.
  3. Players granted the lore writer right can write a short description on items in their own pack with [Describe. Ask staff if you would like to be considered.

Identification Wands
  1. Crafting a Metal Identification Wand with plain iron no longer crashes the server.
  2. Carpenters can now make a Wooden Identification Wand from boards, found under Other; the wood chosen sets its colour and charges, just as the metal one works for tinkers.
  3. Both wands now show [Charges: N] on single click in the normal colour instead of blue.
